Tailgate Sunday is back! It was a blast back in April when we had our first edition, and we’re sure it will be another great time to hang out together. We have two returning trucks (Prime Stache & the Kraze Shark Kart) and also two new trucks (Brotherly Grub & Undrgrnd Donuts). Below you’ll see ideas of what to bring, what will already be available in the parking lot on Sunday, and prospective menus for the food trucks. As always, if you have any questions after reading this, feel free to email firstname.lastname@example.org or call the Grace City office at 215.677.2088.
Tailgate Sunday Guide
What to Bring
- Chairs– Because we will be in a parking lot, you’ll want to be as comfortable as possible while you eat and hang out.
- Games– The ultimate tailgating experience has to include games. We’d encourage you to bring games such as washers, cornhole, can jam or ladderball. Feel free to bring a soccer ball, football or frisbee to enjoy time in the open field at the school too.
What Will Be There
Food!!! Grace City will be providing some great pretzels for you to enjoy, and you will also have an opportunity to sample food from four great food trucks that we have lined up for you. Each truck will have drinks available as well. You are free to bring your own food and drinks too, but after seeing the great options below, we’re not sure you’ll want to.
Prime Stache is a restaurant located on Chestnut St. in Old City. They are bringing their food truck again with four great options for you to choose from. They sold out of their burger and the Ron Burgundy in April, so we were pretty sure you guys would want them back!

Stache Burger $7.00
hand made herbed burger, chipotle aioli, green chiles, bacon, tomato, white American cheese

Brotherly Grub is a gourmet food truck that does amazing burgers, wraps, hot dogs and whatever else they can think of. We don’t have an exact menu available yet for Brotherly Grub, but check out their Facebook page here to see some of their recent creations. Ask around and their customers will assure you that you won’t be disappointed if you give them a try on Sunday.
For this go around, we thought it would be a great idea to have a dessert truck. We asked around and one name was a recurring answer…UNDRGRND Donuts! It is the only gourmet food truck in the Philadelphia area that specializes in fresh, hot, handmade specialty donuts and can be found all over the city during the week. Locally, they have become a favorite at the Mayfair Farmer’s Market. UNDRGRND Donuts are created from only the freshest, locally sourced ingredients for you to enjoy. Check out some of their awesome donuts here.
