Christian parents have the unique privilege and responsibility of raising their kids in the discipline and instruction of the Lord (Ephesian 6:4). It’s no easy task!
That’s why at Grace4Kids we count it a joy to partner with parents on Sunday morning by helping your children:
- Enjoy fun, interactive, and educational times together
- Read and learn from the Bible (the whole thing)
- Understand how each part of the Bible points to Jesus
Where Your Kids Should Go
All children will begin the morning in the auditorium with their parents as we worship God through singing. If you have kids that are infants thru 9 years old, they’ll be dismissed to classes & nurseries right after the announcements and before the sermon starts. A trained and qualified volunteer will gladly get your children signed up and issue a name tag wristband that has a unique number to help ensure your children’s safety and security. Of course, if you want to keep your kids with you for the entire meeting, please do!
Moms can take noisy or hungry infants to the Infant Nursery Room, located through the door leading out of the room to the left of the auditorium.
What They’ll Do
Grace4Kids is built around The Gospel Story for Kids Curriculum, a unique, three-year program that helps ground children in the gospel story from Genesis to Revelation. The curriculum includes age-appropriate illustrations, activities, coloring pages, object lessons, memorization, The Gospel Story Bible, and two family-friendly devotionals, Long Story Short: Ten-Minute Devotions to Draw Your Family to God (OT) and Old Story New: Ten-Minute Devotions to Draw Your Family to God (NT).
What You Can Do
We see Grace4Kids as a means to help parents introduce their children to God and the gospel and increase their love for both. Their time in the classroom is meant to be a supplement to what you’re doing in the home. (Deuteronomy 6:7-8, Proverbs 22:6) To this end, we encourage you to use the devotional material and Scripture memory work we provide for family worship times in the home.
