HOPE FOR WHEN LIFE DOESN”T MAKE SENSE
In the seventh sermon in our Summer Psalms series, Jeff Boettcher preached from Psalm 73 teaching us that we can have hope for when life doesn’t make sense, when we remember that our best life is yet to come.

CHURCHES WE PRAYED FOR
Every week during our gatherings we intentionally pray for a number of churches at Grace City, in our city, in our region, and in our world. This last week we prayed for:
- Grace City Church of Wissinoming as well as asking God to work through our work in the neighborhood of Frankford and Montgomery and Bucks Counties.
- Turning Points for Children which is one of the Community Umbrella Agencies (CUA) in our area.
- Christ Community Church near Reading. They are a partner church in Sovereign Grace.
- Lord’s Grace Church in Seoul, South Korea. They are a partner church in Sovereign Grace
As you read, stop and pray for the spread of the gospel in these churches and their cities.
GRACE FAMILY PICNIC
Our annual Family Picnic will be taking place on Saturday, August 19th, from 11AM-6PM at Beulah Land Swim Club in Pottstown, PA. This is always a great time to get together as a church family and make some memories. Amenities at Beulah Land include basketball, volleyball and tennis courts, two playgrounds for the kids, a creek for nature lovers, a pavilion with shade to enjoy lunch, and of course a really big pool! On the next two Sundays, there will be an information sheet available as well as directions to Beulah Land.
PARENTING & THE GOSPEL
Join us on Saturday, September 9th, from 9AM-3PM for a free one-day parenting seminar featuring Marty Machowski, Pastor for Community & Care at Covenant Fellowship Church and author of several books and curriculum for children and families and churches. During Parenting & the Gospel, Marty will be teaching sessions with topics for parents of children from toddler to high school age.
Childcare will not be provided for this event, but a space for nursing mothers will be available.
A continental breakfast will be provided, and there will be a break for off-site lunch at nearby restaurants.
There is no cost for this event. Please register below or on a Sunday at Grace City Church of the Northeast.
FAMILY DEDICATION SUNDAY
Our annual Family Dedication Sunday will be taking place at our gathering on September 10th. We wanted to pass along this date because we know that many of you who plan on participating in the dedications this year may want to invite your extended family to join us in this celebration of new life that God has given in the past year. If you wish to have your family participate, please sign up at the Information & Resource table on an upcoming Sunday.
