ORIGINS ~ AUTHORITY
In the first sermon in our Reformation 500 series, Rob Chisholm preached from 2 Peter 1:16-21 teaching us that the Bible alone is God’s authoritative Word.

CHURCHES WE PRAYED FOR
Every week during our gatherings we intentionally pray for a number of churches at Grace City, in our city, in our region, and in our world. This last week we prayed for:
- Grace City Church of Wissinoming as well as asking God to work through our work in the neighborhoods of Frankford and Pine Valley.
- Grace Church in Feltonville.
- Covenant Community Church in West Philly. They are a partner church in Sovereign Grace.
- City of Refuge Church in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. They are a partner church in Sovereign Grace
As you read, stop and pray for the spread of the gospel in these churches and their cities.
Whether you have been attending Grace City for three years or three weeks, join us on Saturday, September 23rd from 9:00AM to 3:00PM for our upcoming Membership Class. This class is the first step for anyone that is interested in becoming a member of the Northeast congregation of Grace City. During this class, Rob Chisholm, Pastor for Preaching & Leadership, will be going through the Bible’s teachings that call disciples to be committed to a local church and how it describes the role of the local church in the life of a disciple. If you plan on coming, please click the button below to sign up or visit the Information & Resource Table on an upcoming Sunday so we can have enough doughnuts, coffee, and lunch. Childcare will not be available during this class.

We’ll be getting together to hear about specific works going on in the Muslim world and how we can pray for the gospel to go forward. Children are welcome to attend, and an international lunch is being prepared. If you would like more information contact Sue DeHart (215.887.5825).
